For U.S. customers

We regularly ship our handcrafted mantels, lighting fixtures, furniture, and décor throughout the United States, and most qualifying shipments clear customs smoothly and duty-free under the current USMCA trade agreement.

Our products are proudly made in Canada, and we provide complete and accurate documentation for all qualifying goods to support duty-free entry whenever applicable.

Common product classifications include:

  • Fireplace mantels: HTS 4420.90 – decorative, non-structural articles of wood
  • Chandeliers and lighting fixtures: HTS 9405
  • Furniture items such as tables and benches: HTS 9403

While most shipments clear without issue, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has final authority over the review and classification of imported goods. In rare cases, customs may classify a shipment differently, which could result in duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other import-related charges.

We do everything required on our end to provide proper documentation and help ensure a smooth customs process. However, any charges assessed by U.S. authorities remain the responsibility of the importer.

If you have any questions before ordering, we are always happy to help. When you contact our shop, you’ll speak with a real person, most often Alan, who can answer your questions directly.
