Transform your space with an original Shields & Sons Reclaimed Barn Wood Beam Lighted Sculpture. More than conventional lighting, each piece is individually handcrafted as an illuminated decorative architectural element, combining authentic reclaimed timber, traditional craftsmanship, and integrated lighting to create a striking focal point.

At the heart of each lighted sculpture is a genuine reclaimed barn wood beam, available in sizes ranging from approximately 6" x 6" to 10" x 10". Every beam has its own grain, checking, saw marks, weathering, and character developed over decades, making every finished piece unique.

The beam is complemented by handcrafted black iron brackets and integrated lighting components. Our standard configuration includes two sockets per foot, with numerous customization options available. Black twisted cloth-covered wiring provides a distinctive vintage appearance, while other wire colors and configurations can be selected to complement your design.

Suspension can be customized using metal chain or adjustable rods, allowing the sculpture to be adapted to different ceiling heights and architectural settings. Wiring can be routed around or through the beam depending on the desired appearance and installation.

Electrical Components & Installation

Our beam chandeliers are handcrafted and sold as custom lighted sculptures/decorative architectural elements incorporating electrical lighting components. All electrical components supplied with the piece, including sockets and wiring, are new and UL-listed components.

Because every sculpture is individually made and electrical requirements vary by jurisdiction, the completed artistic piece itself is not represented as a UL-listed luminaire unless specifically stated otherwise. Final electrical connection and installation should be performed by a properly licensed electrician and must comply with applicable local electrical requirements.

Our lighted sculptures have been accepted on previous commercial projects as custom lighted sculptures incorporating listed electrical components. Final classification and approval remain with the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), so we recommend confirming installation requirements with the local electrical inspector before ordering or installation. Component information can be provided when required.

The lighted sculpture shown is constructed from a 10" x 10" beam measuring 12 feet long. Due to its length, it was shipped in two sections, requiring the center bracket to secure the two halves. Beam sculptures measuring 8 feet or less normally include two brackets unless a third bracket is requested.
